Aesthetic symbols, explained.

Useful details before you copy and paste.

What are aesthetic symbols?

Aesthetic symbols are Unicode characters and short text combinations used to decorate bios, usernames, captions, messages and profile layouts. Common examples include hearts, stars, bows, sparkles, flowers, moons and dividers.

How do I copy an aesthetic symbol?

Click or tap the main symbol tile. The symbol is copied to your clipboard immediately. Then paste it into the text field where you want to use it.

What is the + button for?

The + button adds that symbol to the Combo Builder without copying it. You can combine several symbols with a name or short phrase and copy the finished design.

Why does a symbol look different on another device?

The exact appearance is controlled by the device, operating system, app and font. The same Unicode character can therefore look slightly different across platforms.

Why do I see an empty box?

An empty box usually means the current app or font does not support that character. Choose a more common symbol from the same category.

Are favorites and recent symbols private?

Favorites and recent items are stored locally in your browser on this device. The tool does not need an account to remember them.
